Re: Come meet Sadie!
Sadie says thanks for the kudo's and welcome's and alla that.
Welcome Rivers! Do you have any pets? What is your favorite kind of pet? If you haven't noticed I'm a dog/horse person with cats and now Sadie.
Dave, Sadie is 10. That is very young in horsie years. Bucko left at 30 and up at Val's my former Arabian show horse is now 31 and doing well but that's the long end of that spectrum.
This is her with her 5 year old (stolen pic)
Sadie is very well trained so even the little girl can ride her. I hear she has some pep in her step for those of us that like that sort of ride so that's a good thing, I wouldn't want to get bored!
Yesterday afternoon I rearranged my living room and put the desk back in front of the window that faces south and my pasture so I could sit here and bead and play on the laptop and watch her at the same time. I always had my desk here until the day Bucko left and I moved it to the other side of the room and didn't sit here again till last night. This is so great to have this view again. Not just Sadie but I can see a mile across my pasture and my neighbors pasture and there is not one building that isn't mine in my view. The only living beings I see other than Sadie & my dogs is the neighbor cows.
Life is good.
It stopped raining and I brought Paris out to meet Sadie. Paris had never seen a horse so she was funny. I have to stretch a woven wire fence along the wire in the yard area so Paris doesn't get to close to the wire with her "hair".
For anyone who may have missed Paris's latest pic:
Needless to say, I do not need this getting caught in a fence!
Especially since Paris is now entered in her first shows. So now you know what I need to do tomorrow now that the rain is over! I can just barely see Sadie out the window now before dark. I won't last much longer tonight I was up watching her by 5 this morning. lol. Cowgirl up!
