i am now finding dat ground beef wid rice is palatable to the boobies...so mi cook di big pack an wen it done brown, add een di uncle ben an cook it an share dat out so feed dem , twice a day...dam nyaming it n none no leff eena di plate...tank di lawd cause mi was running out of tings...

so now dem having protein an carbs so mi wan to add a veggie..wich one oonoo find dat dawgs like ?

carrots but for your fineky babies you going haffie grate it small an cook it down wid di rice.

Oh and try using the brown rice. Walmart sells a nice parboil one that Tango likes

you can also alternate with some salmon and rice, Tango likes that too.

funny dat u seh brown rice...mi sista ha 15 lbs eena di pantry n she seh mi fi try use it up wid dem....but mi a go haffi cook it separate cause dont brown rice tek long fi cook....

yes mi boobies r delicate ....aldoah wen dem a walk outside dem wi try push dem nose eena dutty wata n odda dawg poo...

Tanya has some good suggestions. I would just try different things and chop them up small and yes cook them with the rice. I think carrots are probably going to be the easiest. Things with strong taste such as peppers and such might not taste so good.

You might want to scramble some egg in there as well eggs are great food and are relatively cheap. I would cook the scrambled egg separate then add it later as not to get the whole works slimy. Eggs are wonderful for the coat.

Your options are pretty endless. You could pick up a soup bone at the market and make a thick stewp. I also used to get a whole chicken and bake it until it was ready to fall off the bone pick off a little meat for myself and use the rest to mix with rice and a half dozen eggs and sometimes even add a can of good dog food to the whole works.

You can freeze portions and make big batches and then just break out a daily amount if you don't want to cook for them daily.

Since you are in to cooking for your girls maybe you saw the cookie recipes Nanceejay posted a while back. As long as you're at it...

Evan soak the brown rice for a couple hours then add the ground beef and carrots cut up small likkle bit of oragano. bring it to a boil for a little while like 5 mins then cover and let it cook on low for about an hour.

get some small freezer bags an share out meal portions and freeze it that way you don't have to cook every day.

next time you goh supermarket or walmart look for a ting dem call rollover. in the pet section. ALLLLLL dogs love it and it is Alberta made. but just use it as a treat. and keep it in the fridge

One of my dogs used to love boiled green banana, mashed up good with the rice and ground beef... and miss flip loves little bits of fresh ripe banana for treats as recommended by Caesar!
