trying to go under the fence

I just caught Barney trying to get under the fence. There is a cat that comes by and tortures him. There was a duck in the canal. But, he avoids water at all cost.

He had jumped the fence where we used to live (1st time was chasing a cat). Then he did just because he could. We have been here since mid April. This fence is just a littler taller. He had been good up until now. We really kept an eye on him at first. Lately we were really trusting him out there unsupervised.

No more unsupervised yard time. I'll have put brick or something along the bottom of the fence.

Dog next door (pug) and mine were always digging to get under the fence. Then someone (on her side) put some chicken wire half way up the wooden fence and buried the other half in the ground. No more digging

Hmm . He had done a little digging but he had managed to get the chain link loose from the pole and was pushing the fence forward trying to get under. The wire holding the fence to the pole has been put back. I may need to add more wire to keep the fence secure to the poles. But, I may have to do chicken wire as well.

It is funny. I had a pit for 13 years who never tried to escape. i had a Dobie for about 11 years and an Am bull for a little more than 12 years. They were content to stay in the yard.

There is wood fence with concrete under between my yard and the one with the puppy next door. There is chain link at the back over looking the canal. That is where he was trying o get out.

We found dogs will not dig in their poop

we found that we only had to do it in a few spots not all till the dog got the hint
