u should see how clancy tan out and will bawk fi hours if im outside and we noh deh out wid im (afta im do im business of course)

btw to protect him jumping on the screen door and ruining the screen there is a hard wire mesh cover you can install over the dog and he wont paw it anymore

Good tip . The bottom part of the screen door is only glass. Boomer has that high-pitched yip-yapping when he wants to come inside . He is quite verbal and will howl when he wants you to play with him.

I got lots of scratches on the glass of my backdoor
Can't get him to bark......just hits the handle

My neighbor thinks he's trying to open the door...I'm sure he is

yes dogs know how to communicate when they need. Clancy has all kinds of yelps that mean things.

I know when he is in distress (the I want to come inside bark)

I know when the mailman is here (the guy clancy successfully chases away 6 days a week)

and when a friend is approaching the premises; when a stranger approaches

I want to play bark
Where is my food bark (accompanied with knock on the bowl)

Boomer was definitely putting out one of those frustrated do you see me out here barks lol. At least talking him down works though. If I speak at all, then there's even more barking. I have to use the silence, ignore method.
