i just read the dogs a story....i could not believe i had done that after i finished the story...yep it was about Spot....i am losing it completely...i have to think so...but Gina has this way of looking at me as if she will speak at any minute...i swear....n they really do communicate to me just wat they want...

am i losing it ...i tek mi anti-depressant medication daily so i think i am fairly lucid...but i read the dogs a story...n i suppose i can confess to the Christmas present....two stuffed animals that are bigger than then...bought them each the said ting so there would be no fighting...yep...dat is how i rationalised it...

let me give u a joke..the fuss ting Ms Gina did was get a grip on it an move towards the dogdoor wid it..fi some reason, anyting u give har she likes to tek it outside immediately...now the stuffed dog is bigger dan har n she have it gripped so it is horizontal and of course she could not get it thru the dogdoor...

Ms gina doesnt even blink...she drops it juss inside the door , goes thru the door n mi see she reach een har head fi grab it an pull it thru...see how mi likkle girl is smart..so mi had to run n grab it cause mi neva want har tek it out in all dat snow

but mi read di dogs a story juss now...i need help

ah... Now would be a good time to teach your dogs to read.

The principle is the same as teach your baby to read. Large index cards with single word written in red ink.

Start with basic commands wid the hand signal and the appropriate card.. Soon they will 'recognize' the words on the card and do the command.

That is too funny about the toys! Yes, i wrap doggie presents and get great delight over watching them tear open the packages! My dog's Christmas presents are hiding in the garage, for I wouldn't want them to smell them before Christmas!

And yes, I have one someone that loves to take her toys outside! In this case it's a Doberman though so I can grab the toy as she goes by, or sometimes I tell her to drop it so either way it's pretty funny everytime because she knows it's coming and acts all sheepish and silly on the way to the door.

Silly fur kids. Such good entertainment!

both were hugging the wall along the passage way as if to be outta sight...the male was against the wall wid di female , i swear, blocking view of him....n it was a mad shuffle fi get to the stairway ...so mi yell, &quot;drop it' even doah mi no see dem good enuff...juss di evasive manner dem was acting mek mi know seh dem up to someting...

sure enuff , dem bruk out into a mad dash...wen mi get up an go dung di passageway, dere was a box of cheezits in di hallway...ah sah...mi cannot get ovah dem two dawgs yah...an di tings dem do..the female is fatter dan the male so she always play defense wen dem up to dem wrongs

That is so funny! Yes they can use their brains to scheme and connive and it is fun to watch.

Rosebud is the ultimate bad girl. She will do things like that once in a blue moon but I always catch her because she puts her head down and tries to slink around and make herself small and trot faster than usual and look sideways at me to see if I am noticing anything different.

Well duh! First thing I say is &quot;what did you do&quot;, then the submissive slinking begins and a big toothy grin!

Today she almost got out the door with a big rawhide bone knot end in her mouth. Halfway out the door I saw it so I told her to &quot;drop it&quot;, out her mouth it fell on to the deck and she went about her potty business. She sometimes brings toys back inside that she takes out but not often!
