After Pebbles died I waited 2 years before I adopted Barney.
I really missed having a dog. But, if I did not have pets (dog & bird) i would possibly be able to spend the summer or a good part of it in Jamaica.
I am just so very sorry for your loss. We lost our German Shephard Barron at 12 yrs old to hip displasia. He was my constant companion and his loss took me a very long time to get over. I waited 10 yrs before getting another dog. We have our pomerianian Alexander now and He is my baby. He has brought so much joy to my family and although German Shephards are my favorite breed, I knew I could not get another one without it being a constant reminder of Barron.
