Alright Nanook and everybody else who is willing to give feedback, what do you think about this one?
They don't write much about her personality, but I'm a little concerned about "laid back".
Butterfly and I do a lot of walking and visiting dog parks. She may seem laid back to some, but that's only because I keep her worn out lol.
I think I'm going to go over this weekend and take a look. Wish me luck.Comment

She looks very sweet. Pins love to walk with you, as a rule. Jogging not so much but yes, a walk. Good luck on your visit, be sure to come tell us what happened..

I think summer is the best time to do it. Spring would have been fine too, but fall and winter catch me a lil slack on activities so I definitely want the new companion to catch me at my best.
Fingers crossed again. Butterfly will be so happy. I sometimes wonder if I have made her a solo dog too long, but she's always delighted when my parents bring Java during the holidays. And her best days are when we go to the dog park so I guess I should not doubt my decision.Comment

She is adorable. I would take "laid back" as a good thing. She is not overly nervous or hyper. I hope the meet and greet goes well.

and no one steps in my door - without inspection

I'm definitely heading over with a positive attitude if the people ever email me back. It's a 3 hour drive so I was really hoping to hear back yesterday so I could plan my Saturday. Haven't had a good road trip in a while.
Oh well, patience is a virtue that I'm doing my best to develop.Comment

I'm loving the rockybalboa Seveen. It makes me laugh. Growing up I had a soona (aka soona one thing as the next but we suspected chow mix) and his name was Apollo Creed. He was a good dog though, very smart but a little overly protective.
He was the runt of the litter but grew up to be big and strong. He ended up the alpha male of the neighborhood dogs. He would climb over the fence at night so my dad installed some sort of electrical wiring deterrent on the fence. He'd still take the lil sting and be waiting on the porch in the morning lol.
I know he was his pack's leader because our next door neighbor saw him beat down 7 dogs in the parking lot on the corner one night.Comment

They should at least have the decency to say dog gone or something. I can't make that 3 hour drive on a week night. (Sucks teeth.)Comment

Tulip so sorry to hear of your disappointment. Hopefully they will respond one way or the other and soon but I would give them the benefit of the doubt. I have had an email problem for a few weeks now, maybe they have a problem or computer problems. Hang in there...
Seveen, I love Rocky and Sheba stories. I think you should let them have a blog. I imagine it would be very entertaining.

Well Nanook, it looks like I'm the problem. I was supposed to fill out the application on their Website.
A lady emailed me back last night and said if I did not fill it out by tonight, she would be transferred tomorrow. i emailed her back to see if she meant transferred to Atlanta which would explain why she was listed in my area.
You were right about not being quick to jump to conclusions. So, things are looking up again.
Also, thanks Ja_Dreamin, "laid back" isn't a bad thing.Comment

Well Nanook, it looks like I'm the problem. I was supposed to fill out the application on their Website.
