my two love me and show it....not all over me allll the time but definitely seek me out and sit in mi lap, come by and rub gainst me foot, lick me hand, and hail me up and beg for food during the day


but then i find that dogs too clingy and dependent...and me already have children so me nuh need nuh more a that

True.. Clancy is so happy to see us when we have been out all day , he jumps up and gives us a hug

Funny, but pretty much true. Both of my cats will come when called, but they also have a demand mode, where they cannot be ignored. The dogs, at least...will go lay down if I tell them.

It is always nice to come home to happy wagging tails and smiles and greets from the pooches.

My Felix (RIP) was <span style="text-decoration: underline">always</span> the last thing I saw when leaving for work in the morning (would sit in the livingroom window and watch me until I drove away) and the <span style="text-decoration: underline">first</span> thing I saw when coming home in the evening (sitting at the front door)

Of course, Felix was also the one who LOVED taking a bath and LOVED playing fetch <span style="font-style: italic">definitely not the orindary feline</span>

When I had cats they met me at the door (the dogs were crated)
One (the female I found as a pregnant stray) would come sit at my foot. When she was pregnant she was more affectionate and would rub against my legs.She would bring me gifts (dead rates, wood chucks etc

The male (her son) was VERY affectionate. He would sit on my lap or the arm of my chair. He would lay on my leg when I slept. He used to try to groom me.

I'm going to have to agree with Diabolical T on this.

I grew up with dogs at home, but my grandmother had dogs and cats. My cat at my grandmother's house was Bobby. He was a white cat with brown ears and a brown bobbed tail.

I tried to hug him up one day when he wouldn't come after I had been calling him, and he scratched the [censored] out of me. What kinda what!

I haven't been too cool with cats since then.

I briefly considered it for a moment in recent years, but I don't think I'll ever get one of my own as a pet.

my boycat was very affectionate too. he was dog-like in his ability to be a companion. his sister only became affectionate when he died, and she loved my younger daughter the most.

so cats have their own way of comforting u too, just because, and not caw dem hungry or want to be let out.

i no longer have cats - surrendered them to animal services when life changed at home.

Mi ask mi sis fi come up to di cawttige but she naw waan come. Talk bout how shi doan want leave di dyam dawg by itself. No dawg allowed innna di cottage mi seh. But she seh di dog ave fi sleep inna di bed wid har.
