this is getting to be riduculous...i am actually afraid or should i say loathed to leave the babies behind to go on trips...i have put off more trips for this reason....bad enuff that that is even wen my sister will be home but this summer both of us need to take some trips at the said time...how can i get over not wanting to let them out of my sight...

acclimatize by starting with an overnight or two away from them

Vannie, just start with smaller amounts of time. If a day or two is bothersome to them and you, start with a few hours here and there. What do you do with them when you leave them? Are they kenneled/crated? The best thing you can do for them is to practice with them what they will be doing when you are away. Once you see for your own eyes that they are fine, then it will be easier to leave them when you have to. If they will be in crates, then crate them at home from time to time etc. Good luck.
