$300 to b insulted...lol...tek di babies fi dem shots n both a dem too fat...Ming is 2lbs overweight n I won't discuss Gina...so him seh dem haffi come off cook food n go on dawg food..seh dem mite not eat for a couple days n mite throw up etc but they will eat di dry dog food...sniff...m considering reporting him to di humane society... But mi know mi gwine to haffi dweet...sigh

You can still cook their food for them, but you might have to change up what you cook. I think I posted some links sometime ago and if you would like I will look & see if I can find them. Good luck, I went through this before over a dog I bred and sold to a gentleman who cooked for him. It took me years to get the weight off, no lie. The plus for the dog was, he ate like a king. The bummer for the dog was he became obese and unhealthy and as his breeder/advocate and overseeing the whole thing I had to dig deep within my soul to come to terms with the state of the dogs health versus the wonderful benefits it gave to a 76 year old who having this dog gave him a will to live after he lost his wife to cancer...after caring for her at home until she passed. I couldn't interfere, and when Richard passed I took the dog and he lived to a ripe old age. Not without health concerns, and in the end it was his heart that gave away.

That said....

Vannie, do what you need to do to get these girls in shape. Overweight dogs can develop diabetes, and a host of other things. I mention diabetes first, but it is also possible if you have a weight problem that a thyroid condition could be present, especially if any skin maladies are in play, such as dandruff or anything abnormal.
