Yes, it's a Datura. I purchased it because the tag said "Angel Trumpet"...I thought I was getting the tropical variety with its big pendulum flower. Despite its high potency of the Datura, it's produces a beautiful flower. Datura and Angel Trumpet are of the same plant family Brugsmania.

I love it too that I printed couple copies and framed it. Right now the garden looking dry and dull...nice having the pics to see what it looked like in it's glory days.

Lord, Sandi, your garden flowers are so nice. this year i completely converted my front lawn to flowers and shrubs, took up all of the grass because i didn't want to fight the grubs anymore. so i'm very much into perennials, and nice ones. i like the datura you've got - i might check it out for next year. i've planted some calla lilies (the ones that look like banana) but them no flower yet. the front yard is more shady than i noticed, so next year i'm moving them to the back.

i'd love to see a big view pic of your garden.
