Isn't this generally practiced across the US ?

Someone asked me yesterday if my building had recycling (rules/laws etc) [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif[/img]

No it isn't practiced everywhere.

It is not required where I live, only suggested.

...and at my previous Florida address, it wasn't even suggested, they didn't recycle at all.

man..I can't imagine not recycling..occasionaly my mother will forget an it just looks strange to see a recycling item in the regula garbage [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif[/img]

in md (at least in baltimore), they have people go through the trash when the trucks drop of the trash and pull out the recycle things. here (my new neighborhood), we have a recycle day.

in the city, we were lucky if people even put trash out to be collected, so i think city hall obliged by doing the recycling for us. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img]
