Kinda depends on what article of clothing it is. Some pants...although clean, stretch out a bit and dont fit quite as nice. For those...I throw them in the dryer with a damp towel and WALLLLA...back to being good enough to wear another time.

wha bout u dry cleaning clothes such as suits? Same rule applies?

Mi wear mi casual clothes once & den in the hamper it goes but fi suits mi can wear ie a likkle longer (like I have any suits or special occasion clothes anymore but mi soon going to have to buy them) [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-bawlout.gif[/img]

What do people do with them in the blog?

Mainly I either put it in the dirty clothes basket or hang it up, but once in awhile i have an item, I tend to hang it on the edge of the dirty clothes basket, if i plan to wear it again very soon.

Best thing i did for myself this year: gave everyone in the family their own laundry basket and stopped doing everyone else's laundry. Who knew I personally only generate a load a week? I felt like I was doing it all day every day before.

Me too...ungle me is a gal. One wear and me done wid it.

Di ungle things that get worn more than once are dry cleaned blazers. I have a couple of thin wash and wear blazers, they are in the one wear, one wash category.

Couple weeks ago I was having this disucssion with my co-workers. They all thought I was crazy. But my thing is, where would I put that piece of worn clothing? Not back in the draw, not hung up next my clean clothes...so where?

And now thankfully that I have an extra closet, my wear more than once blazers have a closet all their own.

I am pretty much a one wear, then wash person too. I make exceptions for certain dry clean things like suits etc, but I don't have too much of that anymore. Conversely, my husband wears things once, except for sports jackets, and they all get dry cleaned. Shirts, pants, etc. However, he travels constantly, and puts in long hard days. He does his own dry cleaning runs though, not to mention pays for it, so what do I care?

Recently, I have realized that I sometimes only put an outfit on for a couple of hours, though, and I do think it is rather silly to wash that. So, I hang that outfit in the center top, and wear it at the next possible time (not the same place/people etc). Then I bin it!

I have a related question for folks, but maybe I will start another thread.

elfa storage basket with hooks on either side of the closet
dresser draw reserved specifically for "not quite dirty" clothes
laundry basket under the bed

coat rack/coat tree
hooks on the closet doors
hooks on closet walls

a ladder that hooks over the wardrobe door
dedicated hamper

exactly GB...sometimes I only wear stuff for a couple of hrs...I don't consider that dirty...especially in winter..when I'm wearing coats..etc

a yard mi grow suh mi nuh wear mi jeans one time fi 2 hours and fling it inna the wash..I have outside clothes diff from "indoor" clothes..as soon as mi come in mi put on "lounge clothes"....and most of my stuff is dry clean

mi ..no sah...dat would be like spending HALF my waking life doing laundry...imagine if mi did have chree pickney \0/

I have some dress shirts for work ..they are cotton so mi wash after one wear...my work pants now are dry cleaned..(1) mi nuh have time fi drap off and pick up daily [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img] (2) it's not recommended(sp) that certain fabrics be cleaned afer 1 wear
