Lawd, how do I get rid of

They have invaded a bush near my front door and wont leave. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-bawlout.gif[/img]
Everytime you walk by the bush you can hear them stirring [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-bawlout.gif[/img]
Daht nuh dagerous? [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif[/img]

Onnu come wid some solutions, quick pleeze

if them won't leave, as yuh say, that probably means them have built a nest somwhere inna your shrub. And if them have a hive in there, them not goin anywhere soon. you haffi destroy the whole hive fi get rid a them.

First you use smoke to make them settle and then can go in and take out the nest; there are sprays and such at home depot for kill them, but you haffi remove the whole hive from where it's attached to the bush. There are yard services that can come out and do that for you if yuh not prepared to go and do it yourself.

yes they dangerous, especially if yuh have kids in the house, or if you're allergic to bee sting. But not 'as' dangerous as real bees - when we were kids my brother stepped in a yella jacket nest and got stung all the way up his legs... it hurt and he hollered but no real harm done.

no one in this house is allergic, but wi not tryin fi get stung neidah.

not really a landscaper, cause them are designers, they don't really provide service after the yard is done design and build.

you want something more like a yard service, look in a de yellow pages or internet, or on local bulletin board ina your neighborhood supermarket and thing, for ads that mention 'bee control' or 'pest removal', them is out there.

If you can see the nest, wait til night time when they are sleeping, then use some type of bee/wasp/hornet spray on the nest. They have them with a nozzle that will direct the spray in a straight line so you can take aim.

If you can't see it, I imagine you can cover the shrub with a tarp then spray up under the tarp to keep it in the bush like a bug bomb. Just make sure it won't harm your shrub.

One thing that frightens me is Yellow jackets and hornets so I would definitely be getting someone else to do the dutty wuk!!
