The land is located in Jamaica so basically every time I get back the grass is high like a jungle and its a pain to keep asking someone to go cut it and then work out sending the money down, does anyone know know to keep grass under control naturally, no chemicals at all.

Re: Grass and lawn care
well i remember the Silva Mind Control people used to talk to the grass and get it not to grow. . .
and i saw a show where there are goats you can rent and they clear it out very quickly - they are using them to eat the underbrush to control forest fires in Cali - they were using them at that museum that got refurbished and then almost caught fire during the wildfires

Yes damn goats once they start on your plants its ovah, so you can let them walk in your garden like that, I had a mint leaf plant that plant provided mint every morning for breakfast for over 10 years till some bloddy goats walk into our yard and nibbled on it, it died in less than two weeks turn brown and never recovered. i'd sooner think what killed the plants was the goats peeing on it...not nibbling on it.

Because goats eat the tops of plants rather than the roots, they are considered less damaging to native plants than other grazing animals. Thinning the plants also causes less erosion from over- stripping and helps till and fertilize the soil.

yep right on loops
f you’re tired of seeding, watering, fertilizing and working all season long to stay ahead of weeds and crabgrass, it’s time to consider zoysia. Once you’ve planted our Amazoy® zoysia grass in a new or existing lawn, you’ll be rewarded by a lawn that’s lush and low maintenance:
Needs far less water than other grasses
Thrives in blistering heat and survives the coldest winters
Excellent for slopes, play areas and other tough conditions
Reduces mowing to once a month or less
Chokes out weeds and replaces other grasses
Cuts costs and chemicals –naturally resists insects
Grows incredibly thick, like
a soft carpet

Yep wide open lot flat and has several grapefruit, orange and coconut trees plus some other flowers I am growing until I get ready to landscape it properly. My only neighbor is a dentist plus its in a very private place in Ochi so nobody can see if I put mulch on it, maybe mulch after we cut it this time. I will take a before pic once I get down to show you what I face every trip back. Now to find cane mulch a yard
