I moved my 2 SB pepper plants from the pots they had been in and put them in the ground around back. I am worried cause some of the leaves are dropping off [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img] one of them I had to separate from a few calaloo plants so I was worried that one may not make it but the other one I just loosened up the roots some and put it in and the leaves are dropping from that one too.

Could it just be part of the transplanting process?
Should I do anything else beside water them?

They probably went into shock while you transplanted them. The leaves are going to fall off if that is the case but with TLC it will continue to grow and recover. Another thing, where did you plant it? Is it in full sun or partial shade? Did you leave the potting soil around the roots or did you remove most of it? And how big are the plants? The bigger they are, the easier it is for them to go into shock.

I moved them from the front of the house to the back of the house, the front gets full morning/midday sun (faces east for the most part) and the back gets full afternoon sun.
the one on the left here I just pulled from the pot and lostened the root and soil a little, the majority of the potting soil was in there.

The one on the right here I had to take a calaloo out of the middle of it.

Yes. They look otherwise healthy to me. Do you have alot of Monarch butterflies? Their larvae love feasting on SB plants. I would check for those green caterpillars.

we have had a ton of rain the last couple days and they really look like they have perked up! [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70371-jump.gif[/img] I see a whole heap of new growth and tiney leaves comin, especially on the little one. I really hope they do well there, it is right outside my kitchen sliders and is very convenient there.
