I promised some of you a while back that I would show you the completed work. You probably remember me getting on hubby's case to finish it before the baby was born. It wasn't done until she was about a month or so. Mind you, it is still a work in progress. We removed the carpets from all 3 bedrooms and are having the floors refinished one weekend soon while we are away.
We, ok, *I* went with the Winnie the Pooh theme. I love Pooh Bear

Must mention that I got that chest from CL for $25
This is the twin bed at the other side of the room which I occupy many a night.

I used the shower favors up here, plus that piece with the child in the hands (in honor of Sarah's sister that did not make it )

The room is really tiny. 12x12 I believe. The space in between the crib and the twin bed is really tight and I couldn't fit a night stand in so I used the Yaffa which also came in handy as a bookshelf.

Hubby rebuilt inside the closet so that it is not just for hanging clothes but also has shelves for organizing and storage from celing to floor.

Word of advice to mommies to be...don't get stuff like a changing table. We have one in our room and have not used it for roughly 2 months now. Well, if you count throwing dirty clothes on it from time to time then it is still being used. Get furniture that is functional and can serve for a long time. I wanted to get a crib that would convert to a bed but the MIL went ahead and bought us that crib so no biggie. We have a twin bed and will be putting toddler rails on it when she is around 2 years old. We hope to have this design for at least 5 years then we can redo the walls to a big girl room. Maybe Disney princess ...but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
