I knew it was going to freeze last night so I had my assortment of blankets/sheets all ready to go.
At 6pm last night, I covered all the plants I could at my house, then went to neighbour lady, and covered hers.
Then me and neighbour lady, go around the corner to the nursing home where I am a grounds keeper. The day before I had pulled up alot of the big/huge planters in a circle and had blankets to cover them.
Went home, turned on the heater in my green house, and crossed my fingers. Then ras came home, we had supper, went to bed.
Got up at 4:45am, the usual time. At 5:45am, ras is getting ready to leave for work, and I am outside, in my housecoat looking at the plants that were not covered (frozen stiff) when I look over at fish pond, and its EMPTY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
