Mi decide to give dis gardening thingy another try. Again...sigh. Mi would like to grow some herbs, tomatoes, lettuce, etc. However, mi have some very gluttonous rabbits and deer weh nuh know how fi keep dem pawts off ah mi place [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad2.gif[/img] so i was thinking of taking my gardening indoors. I found this. What do you guys think?

Don't buy it.
It will take months to grow what you see in the picture and you'll eat it off in one sitting.
It's really a rip-off.
It might be good for kids to start them off and to get them interested in gardening but you'd need to buy a dozen or so to keep you in lettuce
Try container gardening (empty drywall compound buckets) on a protected porch or your roof if it's flat and accessible.
You might also buy some plastic fencing and fence off your garden to keep out the deer and rabbits.

i wanted to try something indoors and that looked neat (as in not messy).
maybe gardening isnt for me.

well, a guess u a go give up..
Me just purchase more hurricane vases to plant more paperlillies inna de house. Me like the real flowers inna de house inna de winter, and worse and all especially if a me grow dem..
Me also just bought some tulips (cheap) early variety fe go plant inna ground now, so hopefully dem can get bout six weeks of cole, and bloom inna de spring..
Me also did me amaryillis, and have it pon the tv top...
It a start sprout already, but dem seh u haffe wait at least six weeks fe it fe bloom. Me can wait..[img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70459-hugs.gif[/img]

If u live near a Sams or a Costco, u can look for the live plants too..
dem should be coming out soon with the giant orchids..
Those are nice, especially the variety that they carry, cus of how large the flowers are
(a de first time, me ever see orchids so big)
Worse and all, dem tek bout three months before the flowers die..
You cant beat dat!
