Ever made the mistake of using masking tape on glass, removing the tape but can't remove the tape residue from the glass? Any ideas how to get rid of it, especially now that it's dried up?

use a blow dryer to "melt" the adhesive then wipe. U can use alcohol to wipe -

Spray windex on the glass, then scrap with razor scraper. Spray again with windex, and wipe clean ! We had to do this on the store front windows at work.

goo gone....works wonders. You can get it at any hardware store...I even found it at the dollar store recently. Worse than masking tape is DUCT Tape residue...and Goo Gone made it disappear.Comment

I second the Goo Gone, and use a credit card or hotel key, not a razor blade, if you have one. This is precisely what painter's tape is mae for...Comment
