I get all my tropical decor from Pier 1 Imports...just love their stuff and very reasonable prices.

(((SandiF))) for your house renovation - those things take forever - always longer than planned - and always more issues than planned
and yes you do recognize Kenya in my house - visited there and fell in love with the art work
i traded my West African clothes for East African art and jewelry
i cry everytime i see the violence there - 'cause fighting the AIDS epidemic is tough enough

Re: Tropical interior Decorations
oh lord the political strife in Kenya really got me...sent an email to our friend over there and all now can't hear word and he was always prompt to respond.
I have not mounted any of my arts and I did brought home a boat load. Will get it all done when the renovation is done.

Re: Tropical interior Decorations
I've found alot of ethnic decorating items at Home Goods, T.J. Max & Marshalls....you have to check often because they get new things in all the time, but some of my best ethnic purchases have been at yard sales....amazing what you can find!!
