so I am getting new gutters and downspouts dun.

work begins on Wednesday of this coming week.

I've been thinking about that but I hear it is expensive and I have other things to fix first. I guess price varies based on location but is it what you would consider "reasonable"? Like unda a thousand? You getting those leaf guard gutters?

mine dem kinna worn out too. but am thinking of patching and repainting, caw mi cannot afford wholesale redoing.

Did you get an estimate? I hate hate hate cleaning it out in the fall cause di eediat leaf dem no all drap off till December and if go rain and freeze up before it clean out it pop dung and all sort of worrys. Mi get somebody come nail it back up di odda day.

no mi no get no estimate. mi juss figure it might be a good exercise initiative for me for the summer. the eavestroughs are rusted through in some parts, but otherwise are in good shape.

I am actually getting a new roof now an di man doing it making me know him is a jack of all trades so who knows but oonu know how much roof cost... Yes mi dear roof expensive I redid my roof 2006 and is a flat roof mi have and it cost more to do it than the other roofs [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-bawlout.gif[/img]

exced, what bout di underpart of the roof (i think it's called soffit)? is that part of a roof job, or part of a gutters job? mine is made of wood and mi notice d'edda house dem on mi street look like dem have aluminum or some later quality material...

We call it eves and I had mine redone by the roofer. Mine was rotting so I put the white vinyl material instead of putting back the wood.

plus me did use dem guys ya fe clean me gutters lass year, and dem did give me estimate fe replacement..
Believe it or not, dem lass the lass estimate, but me member the price..
Dem actually give me a price dats "cheaper" and "more" guttters dan the lass estimate, hence me reasoning fe just galang and use dem and no badda hagga, hagga, over de price.... [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/notworthy.gif[/img]

dem have extenstions, so them a run water 3 feet from the house..
