Even doe we inna recession, the materials a go still go up, hence the higher prices fe de quote..so dats understandable..
a de materials u a pay far, and den price nay stay stagnant...
so noh listen to Gen..
If u deal wth another dude, u noh know de quality of him work, and u haffe a see, if him have complaints etc...
If you have a contractor dat u deal with, u know him, and u should be able to have more flexiblity with him dan with any others, cus u know him work..
Mek u husband deal with him. I find that for some reason, man and man deal better together. Is like an unspoken language dem have.
My contractors dat I worked with, are usually less busy in the
winter, and will tell u when is the best time, fe do a job..
Remember, I just redid the entire kITchen. everyting gutted to the studs, including ceiling..
I put in mable floors, granite countertops, so that wasnt an overnite job..
dat was major renovation..and massive, massive dust..
de contractor just tell me when a him least busy time, and started de work.
I know their work, hence the reason I am willing to wait..
