Hey SandiF , wha a gwan...[img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70459-hugs.gif[/img] I too have the coral bells. this is the type me have. haffe admit, that if it wasnt fe me gardening friend, a wouldnt try no dark looking plant, but she tell me seh, me haffe stop being so finincky and try new tings. Me planted two lass year, and both came back dis year..

the coral bells I bought are the dark chocolate browns. it looks nice when it is contrasted with white or yellow flowers.

Nylah does peony do well in your neck of the woods. I love them but they dont do well here in FL.

actually Peonies do really well here. Lots of ppl plant them here. They dont seem to mind our harsh winters and keep coming back each year. My mom had tons of them when we were kids.

I just put in 2 Peony plants this year where I ripped out those invasive thingys that were spreading under the window. I will see how they do for me. I just dont like the ants that they attract.

this does not look like coreopsis moonbeam to me....usually the leaves are thin....threadlike.

noooooooooooooooo....just seems like siberia sometimes....not necessarily today tho.

i'll post some of my plants tonight when i get home....lots of pretty stuff coming.

i went to a great botanical garden yesterday...was a little early to enjoy the flowers...but the hardscape and plantings still looked lovely.
