well at this point Nylah...i don't HAVE to buy anything....but it's just that i WANT to buy everything. I could split the plants i have now, and do...and fill quite a few gardens. I give plants away to my friends all the time. Despite my largess...i still buy more plants each year...mostly at the local plant sale...saturday, i bought 9 perennials...cost me 27 bucks...i've yet to plant them. i need to move some of my existing stuff around first...plants are like furniture to me.

i spend a lot of my cash on annuals and container plants...i did most of my annual shopping saturday too...spend about 80 bucks...but i'm sure i'll go back. When the pansies start looking ragged...i'll want to put something new in those pots. And i still need a few plants to have at camp too.

yeah...i have a sickness...rarely do i see a plant i don't like...and want. So you can stop spending money anytime....but, do you really WANT to? [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif[/img]

and Coless...i haven't found these orchids all that difficult to care for...have been elated when they send up buds in the dead of winter.

all i do is bring them over to my kitchen sink and let the water run through them, and spray them lightly with the sprayer. then i put them back in their pots. I hear they don't like to sit in standing water. I water maybe once a week...or less. that's all i do.

when we last left loopsland...

the crabapple was losing it's blossoms.

i'm over that now that we've got the veggie garden all planted...seeds are sprouting...and the flower gardens are coming along nicely.

care for an update?
