The room is a warm cinnamon color with white trimmings with curtains to match. The room has a double window.

If you were to choose an area would you choose an area to posiiton your desk would you choose (a) facing the window with a view of what is happening outside (that window faces the street not the back of the house) or (b) facing the wall with the window to your back. The room is very bright and sunny but has blinds for light control.

definetely facing the window..that's what I plan to do with mine when I get around to fixing the office up

The east wall in my office has two windows (with enough space in between for my desk). I had it that way for almost two years and then decided to kitty-corner the desk in front of one of the windows (so I can see directly outside) and I think I like that much better

I also have an electric piano placed the same way in front of the other window.

This still leaves enough wall space in betwwen for my printer (on a stand) and a floor lamp

On the south wall I have a queen-size futon and one end table.

On the west wall (it's a smaller space because of the closet) I have a multi-media wall unit.

And the north wall is still a blank canvas because I have yet to purchase a flat-screen which I want to hang on the wall.

sorry for the delay. decision making regarding house tings can stressful ennuh.

Ok here goes.

Right now I have a regular sized desk with a stand for the printer. I need to now create two work stations in this room with a functional stand to house a printer a fax machine an a scanner (these will soon be replaced by a copy machine which does all the above (well the fax I am hoping to take wireless).

I want enough space for a chaise and the mini fridge will be hidden in the closet.

I don't need room for a file cabinet becuase I am planning on making all our paperwork electronic saved on an external hard drive. with a tracking system in xcel to assist in locating them.

So I need furniture ideas keep in mind the cinnamon color of the wall. Right now the desk is light brown
