that is pressure treated wood, which is put through a process to handle the eliments.
As Kia said ppl suggest dat mi stain it even though mi did already plan to. I'm glad that most of them agreed that it should be a reddish colour as well. The wood is still very wet, some pieces the same size were heavier than others, so I need to wait till next year feet fi dry out den mi wi stain it nex summah.

Paint will eventually strip, while a stain will not. He used pressure treated wood which will last for years and years to come, even left unfinished. While pressure treated wood is practical it is not very attractive, a nice stain will bring the wood alive and make it look very rich.
I wonder how many people that deck can hold? Invite us over for a BBQ nuh dahJah so we can find out.
