Yes dem big missus!!

Never saw them around here ever until probably the last 15 years or so. Now they're pretty common to see soaring and circling. Really beautiful.

Saw one tearing up a mouse or some such likkle critter on the ground one day. Not so beautiful...

We got one of dem hanging around our yard stalking my cat (who could be mistaken for a rabbit)

when we took a drive over east of the mountains here yesterday, a big one flew in front of our car window and I happened to get a shot of it. This pic doesn't make it look as close as it actually was.

I think Falcons nest in the city buildings as well...
I grew up looking at pigeons, seagulls, starlings &amp; sparrows.

Seems the city gets bigger and more &amp; more wildlife comes back.
Hawks &amp; Coyotes &amp; Turkeys...

I grew up in Iowa where bald eagles are a common sight <span style="font-style: italic">mi miss dem</span>

larger birds (except di damnable pigeon, crow an seagull) are not common in the city although, chicago does have huge amounts of geese stopping by en route to their winter home

My neighbors have a HUGE house and HUGE yard and one entire corner is devoted to the birds feeders beyond your imagination!
