Re: Loops I bought an Edger

Thanks a bunch for the pictures loops. They do help a great deal. I had created an one inch "edge" around the pathway bed yesterday but it didnt seem to make sense because it looks like the grass would just grow over the divide in time.
So, I have to make a slightly wider trench and then fill it with mulch is what I gather from your explanation and pictures above.
This makes alot more sense now and I prefer the look. The black plastic edging material makes the garden look untidy.
I'll post some pictures of what I have done so far with the black mulch and the new brick edging I place in front of the window.
I like the black mulch but the verdict is still out out on the brick edging for me

I will try laying them side ways and see if that minimizes their appearance.
