Hi birthday lady, fellow taurian

I've a strawberry plant it fat and nice yu see.

The vine start to run is it okay to wrap vine around a post or should I let it run on the ground.

It's my first time trying strawberry and don't want to kill it.

hello ms exced...and thank you for the birthday wishes.

i'm no expert on strawberries...but i do believe you want the runners to run on the ground. they'll make new plants that way. push the little runners gently into the ground and cover with a bit of soil or place a rock on them...they'll root fairly easily.

that is right Ms Exced.

I have about 5 strawberry plants from the one I planted. The runners will do the work themselves as long as they have soil contact.
