How many times I need to offer you a damn plane ticket before you say yes and just come deal with my DIY projects for me

Okay, here is the problem

I bought this great chair for $25 at a flea market a few yrs back. (I think I posted a pix of it last yr)
Anyhoo, I was going to have it reupholstered (sp?) but then decided I like the pale pink covering, and would just refinish the wood since it is chipped and stuff.
-so this weekend I sanded down the chair
-sprayed a sanding sealant on the wood
-spray painted the wood with a high gloss white lacquer finish.
Problem: I tried my best to spray the wood evenly but in some spots the spray paint ran, so I have dip marks in some spots. If I try to sand and re-spra (even when I saind just lightly) I lift off too much lacquer and the reapplied spot looks uneven

What is the best way to fix the spots where the lacquer finished has left drip marks?
