I have been shopping around for a new sofa (chesterfield) for a couple of weeks now. Not looking for anything stylish, just something comfy as mine is very VERY uncomfortable to sit in. So last night on my way home from work I notice that one of my neighbours had dragged their old sofa to the curb for trash pick-up. So under the cover of darkness I strolled over and gave it a look. Even though it was dark I could see that it was in good shape. They don't own pets so there was no dog or cat hair or smell and they don't have kids so it was not used as a trampoline. I sat in it and it is very comfy, exactly what I was looking for.
A quick call to my nephew and very quickly with his help it was sitting nicely where my old sofa once was.
So we put my old uncomfortable sofa out to the curb last night with hopes that someone would see it and take it and sure enough when I look out this morning it is gone.
Now the question is what to do with the money I had set aside to purchase a new sofa?
