Tankless water heaters

we just got our systym in and we went with the Rinnai.
seems to be functioning well even when two showers are going same time.
my neighbor went with a different brand and he says the water smells "burnt"
anyone experience any problems?

Nope. Had the Rinnai installed some months ago. It takes a few minutes to warm up but it well hot hot hot as needed.
Our gas bill went down by over 50% this summer
