quality of the furniture Pepper. How it is made, what material is used for the frame, where it was made, quality of the leather , etc etc etc

I have leather in the den going about 8 year now. It survived my son's teen years. I'll have to check the manufacturer against the chart you posted. It seems to be holding up well so far.

I don't mind the maintenance and where we live in DC area, Winters are not too harsh so we end up using the fireplace 2-3 times for the season. What I am concerned about is the smoke and ash in the air. We've used the fireplace for 20 years (the house was built in 1951). These days the gas fireplace is not so fake-looking and it gives great heat. Plus, the thought of using a remote to start a fire

you could put in a high efficiency wood burning fireplace and heat your home.

I don't have any yet, but I would to get me a nice red chair. Kia, I know those puffy pillows ones are comfy but man are they UGGGLLLEEEE. I like that detail on the red sofa, too. That last one? WTH is right. It looks like an overgrown hairclip or something...and I like edgey things. Can't you just see a good sized guy sitting in that?
