Alomst finished my laundry room reno

well, im almost completed my laundry room. Lorna chose the colours
i still have to tile the wall that faces the machines-was undecided whether to paint and put baseboard/trim or continue the subway tile

the washer/dryer is blue or burgundy?

I like the blue wall color although for a place as tedious I would have personally chosen neon green

the cabinet next to the laundry, is that a wall cabinet you mounting?

do you have a slop sink in there too?

I would continue the subway tile around the wall for a uniform look.

Do you have a place to hang air dry clothes or a place to hang up the shirts?

Do you plan on ironing in the laundry room too (we dont.. iron in the bedroom).

we went from a gas dryer back to electric dryer, so i had to have the gas line removed, so i had the HVAC contractor who did our furnace/ac/ and water heater lower it from outside and run it under the floor joists into the basemnt for a gas fireplace

no Kia, its a main floor laundry so space was limited. Lorna or myself do the ironing in the dressing room in the master bedroom.

i used a cabinet with a deep [mirolin] drop in sink

we got a quote to go off the grid, because our backyard is on a wildlife conservation, we would need to build a seperate storage for the battery, and we were quoted $40,000 for wind turbine, solar panels etc.
even with rebates it would take 15 years to see a return

Tree coming down. Yes we getting solar panels. We have the rebates and have calculated a 10yr payback period. Basically treating the solar panel as an investment vehicle and hopefully get enough Srecs to sell back to generate about $3600 cash annually

nice thing is you can sell excess power back to the grid,, i hear OPG (Ontario Power Generation) gives you so much per KW

yes here they are called SRECS.. It seem doah I still have to train the brats to turn off the lights..

BTW how is your Rinnai working out?

We have 2 water heaters had to replace them both.. One with a Rinnai and the other a Navien

Aside from tekking a little time to heat up when the water hot it is hot
