Yes Gen, you're right - he's kinda like that Canadian Holmes guy - only he doesn't have that kinda meany mean holier than thou vibe.
Come Saturday - ck it - HE SHOWS UP ON TIME! WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD!!

(I was merely infatuated before - now I was almost in lust - fi reel)
He and his 2 guys unload and don't mess around.
They get to work.
I'm still stunned the dude didn't require a deposit.
The job took just as long as he said it would - pretty much all day.
They finished and cleaned up and cleaned up well.
They had started by lowering a tiny camera into the holes they drilled, showing us how there was basically no insulation in the walls.
After they were done, they showed us how the camera would even go past the drilled spaces anymore, that's how well the house had been packed insulated.
When it came time for us to pay, he went back into his paperwork and started tabulating something over and over and over again.
Finally he says that he'd made a mistake and that the real total was actually $1300.
He does all types of insulation, roofing, siding and windows.
We all 3 talked for a long time and he told us that he doesn't want to do any more when it comes to other types of work - he just wants to to what he knows very well.
Come to find out, he's a Christian man with a strong faith in the Lord and says he likes to think he's a witness by his deeds, not by beating people over the head by condemning them.
I now understand why all the comments on his site are so good. I don't usually trust reviews on sites because, let's face it, you could get you friends to write them or even write them yourself - who knows.
I plan to write a glowing, sparkling, ringing recommendation for him.
Anyway - one unexpected plus to the completed job - ahhhhhhhhhh - the sound of silence.
We have a corner lot - front of the house is on a main drag. A good amount of traffic. Surprise surprise - the insulation has dramatically cut down on the street noise.
Where I live, contractors like him are one in a trillion!
