Yep Tulip I have to admit I got them for space but the theory works... we got 3 plants one is in the ground at my sisters and these 2 are 3 times the size and almost have fruit.

Ms Exced yes adale helps to water and he has a bean which he planted at school which he gets to take care of ...

Sandi there are 3/4 strawberries that have popped I didnt think it would be bearing already.

Very nice Twiney The mint is thriving! I like how you have that evergreen tree in front of your balcony, gives you green all year round and privacy

So it actually works. That's good to know. I'm willing to try it now. And it would be one good cost savings because tomatoes are not cheap.

yes ILP and they have different planters ... for strawberries, cucumbers etc.

I am all over this one now. A garden tomato does not even need salt and pepper for taste.
