....dat sounds huglie fi chroo...can you imagine you're having a cookout and lo an behol'd is a coyote a peep innah yuh food?

A coyote that was caught was rabid; attacked 3 people dem seh.


Any sightings in your neck of the woods?

britisha that is regular ting wey me live.....not peeking inna yu food dat is but when the dawg dem start go mental you know is either a bear or coyote, but am telling you the coyote dem tek dem time cross the road as if they are in a cross walk.

As fee the Moose dem doan badda even go there, you come round a bend in the road an dem stanhup like dem paying taxes no place to go but run off the road. If you hit dem you know is dead yu gwine dead iiena, remember the time when one flip me car pon iiee side well I had know where to go and swerve and end up with the car on the side.

Bears only end up in the backyard when they searching for food.....very irregular.....or sight them if you go into the woods....or if you looking through your binny.

we have had coyote sightings and there were cases a few years ago where they have taken small dogs &amp; such

but the reason they are coming out of the woodwork is overdevelopment and lack of their natural food sources.

deer is a regla ting out dis side but every now &amp; again dem will cross a busy road and mek traffic stap.

I hear you both, but the idea that they are so close to people's homes is scary...and as for the skunks in the wormy apple...eewww...it was reported that they smelled them before they saw them...eeewww..

We have coyote inna di back bush woody area... when the dog was about him neva stop bark. Mi fraid a dem! One night I ran over a dead skunk... oh lordy. My car was smelly for a few days.. mi couldn't drive it.

The raccoons and that ugly one wid the razor sharp teeth regular residents. My husband set trap every night fi dem. One early morning before day break mi dey pon di trail a run and mi nuh know a wah dat but sinting spring outta no where fi nyam off mi foot. A swear di sinting look roundish but it a bark and act like a dog but a noh dog dat. A bust a piece Bolt yu si.

Sounds scary...my friend in Jersey said that if shi evah si a bear in her backyard, shi gwine sell the house...

Mebbie yuh haffie run with a stick or something to beat offf any attackers, beast or human, like those who threw stones at you while running...mi noh know wha mi wudda duh if a racoon or coyote attack mi...Laawd!!

....yesterday on the news, they showed a device like a mini bullhorn that one can travel with and blow if confronted by one of these &quot;wild animals..&quot; In fact, they showed where blowing a whistle to alert ppl when you are attacked by humans, might work as well...

I'm really concerned especially since the incidence of these appearances by these wild things are becoming more prevalent. Don't take any chances, take preventative measures to protect yourself. DUH, mi a beg yuh.

juss a hear pan di news a 911 call made after a man was attacked by a bear in the Washington area, wifey called for him... he's now in stable condition..

..mi noh know wha fi seh, but mi read yessideh seh opposums agguh tek over the Wormy Apple....they ...get this, they were brought in to kill rats that over ran the city like in the days of the Pied Piper of Hamlin, and now the rats still abound and the opposums multiplied to the nth degree... commentator seh, dat was a silly ting tuh do, an mi agree...
