Water...a new status symbol round here

All summer long and now into fall I have been engaged in an ongoing battle to keep our lawn green...we use a lawn service for fertilizer/weed control etc...my lawn is not the best...at the bottom of the barrel if u ask me....but I could not help but notice how brown most of the lawns in the area are...

if I had to pay for water mine probably would be too....even some of the best lawns in the area have taken a severe beating in the drought....for every 10 houses on a street, maybe half or less water their lawns....it is so apparent when you see the property divisions...one neighbor has a green lawn and the other right next to them has a parched lawn...

mi wonder if the winter will be this dry

i think skelly uses a well

when ATL was having drought everybody lawn did brown and dead alike..so it was alrite

i say is time we stap wid dis green lawn and rethink de lawn in a more eco friendly format.

De fertilizers that go into the ground end up with extra phosphorus in the rivers/seas and creates tons of jellyfish in the rivers where we are, so the kids can no longer go swimming without worrying about jellyfish stings

we had a hard summer and de crabgrass did well but mi a convince mrKia dat clover has nice deep roots and is green too
