Drywall taping...I HATE DRYWALL

HATE IT!!! I abhore and absolutely detest drywall taping

especially ceilings.
I hate drywall taping hate it hate it hate it

but heres my trick:
first, I use Durabond 20 (sets in twenty minutes. I mix it in the mud pan in powder form.
I set all my tape joints.

then, for the first coat I use the same durabond 20 using a six inch taping blade then for the second coat i use a 10inch blade using pre mix drywall mud easy sand and low dust formula. I add a bit of water and a few drops of dish soap.

the following day I lightly sand, and then i mix a thinner mix of durabond 20 ( you can use 45, or 90) depends how fast you can work. I then apply a light skim coat. once this dries, I feather sand and its ready for primer.

and this is why i hate drywall taping. its tedious

I have always heard this is tedious. I've also heard that if you are not an expert at drywalling, do not attempt to begin

for REAL skells. i'd sooner clean bathroom than do the dyam detestable floors. UGH
