Kia the pictures will not remain in a row after I get the picture hangers that wont require putting holes in the wall... the ledge is there to stay just how I organize it will be different as I said in the shout box (that is one box gone by putting them up as is) I just need to get the boxes empty and unpacked.Comment

don't be afraid to put holes in the wall..the fill very easily and you don't risk those no hole hangers failing and pictures falling.When its hot in the jungle of peace I go swimming in the ocean of love.....Comment

Twiney - are you going to keep the pictures in the same frame that they're in now? Can you put them all in the same color/type of frame?

I am thinking about it I know there are 2 of them that I will not change the frames for but I am thinking of changing others to complement/match those 2. I will consider the change though when i figure out what I am going to put below the ledge as that may affect the final look I go for. These pictures weren't all in the same space before but different layout of the house so they dont all go together.
Rich If I end up hanging heavier frames I will be ok with putting holes in because I know where the studs are but for anything else I am leaving my option to change the design when my head says so therefore the idea not to want to put holes all over the place. (hope it makes sense to you because I am not sure I am making it as clear as I am thinking)Comment

i understand wat you are saying but i'm suggesting that those no hole hangers are not reliable and you might be better off making the holes since that are very easy to fill. i have some experience there..there is not a wall in my house without a picture on it
BTW unless it something super super heavy you don't really need to find a stud they have regular picture hooks that can hang up to 70lbsWhen its hot in the jungle of peace I go swimming in the ocean of love.....Comment

not feeling the ledge
use same color frames and matting
the holes easy to fill (spackle and sandpaper and voilà) it tek 2 mins to fill and once dry 3 mins to sandpaper
get a big peeca brown butcher paper (measure to the section on the wall yuh using) lay out the frames on that paper and play around wid proportion and scale on the paper. Once yuh find something yuh like, mark di holes on the paper. Then place paper on wall and line up holes there. Then hang.Comment

What can guh under di frames ?
A tufted bench (with additional storage in it) that could provide additional seating for extra guests/holiday
2 smaller ottomans side by side (with storage see above)
some kinda credenza (right scale) with storage below depending on what yuh using the room forComment
