Ceiling Fans

I want to install ceiling fans with lights in two bedrooms. They will replace the current 60-year old light fixture which is a standard ceiling light cover. I like a contemporary look - brushed nickel would be nice. The fans need to be flush-mount not suspended.

I like this one but it comes with hand-held remote. I want it to be operated by the light switch.

dont most of the ones that come with remote, also have the light switch option ?

unfortunately the affordable ones are fugly

there should be a thread down here where we did discuss and post the better looking ones

the handheld remote is designed in such a way that you can place it over the lightswitch so from an aesthetic perspective it is not very different
