House Hunting

One of the decisions I ended up making on my trip to DR was to leave my home of the past 7 years and find a new one. Too many bad memories, years of turmoil. I need a fresh start and I am ready to begin that new phase of my life. My goal is to move within a year but if I find a house I like and all goes well I will move as soon as the end of the summer.So far I am looking at this 4 bedroom 2 bathroom cape on the other side of town. The only thing I don't like is the fact that it is on the main street, literally. What I do like is that the yard is small. I am not looking or a big yard like the one I have now. :whooa: Also it has been newly renovated and has new cabinets, appliances, granite countertops and bathroom and lighting fixtures. Price is very low for the area. Will post updates from time to time to let you know how that is going. Moving to this house is a huge step for me...as it involves commitments of other sorts...

My girls are very wary when it comes to traffic so mi not really worried bout dat..mi jus worried bout di noise...

It is a flip house. Owners bought for $65K and did their reno...mi soon fine pitra....

One thing that keep house prices low is the location. If you buy it, you have to think what you could get when u plan to sell it too

One more thing to consider is that while your kids are street savvy, their friends that come over for playdates may not be.....

tek the one wid the garage so u car can stay inside when it snow and less digging out

overall get what meets your families needs.. I like house wid mrMan better cause it not on the main street

but it only has 3 bedrooms and does not have a finished basement...i will have to ask him if he will finish it himself as dat is a necessity fi me....
