Just ran into this lady at the drug store.

You couldn't miss her with the shoes, leather jacket and lots of bling. She told me she has an interior design TV show. She said it takes 80 hours to shoot each episode and they edit it down to 22 minutes.
I am posting this here to remind me to watch it. It should be fun. Has anyone seen it.
Esther Tracy loves over-the-top budget-free interior decorating, and in her new series Esther Extraordinairewhich airs Saturdays, starting June 1st, we get to witness her decor transformations along with her son David (who tries to keep his mother on budget).
We wanted to find out more about Esther and her design style, so we asked! Check out the following Q&A:
HGTV: Is there such a thing as "too much" for you in the design world?
Esther Tracy: I believe there is no such thing as too much, if all of the elements are properly coordinated in a cohesive manner, using scale and balance, to create function and comfort, and an inviting environment, always with the surprise element, of drama.
HGTV: What's the most extravagant thing you've put in a home?
ET: There are many extravagant things I have put in homes over the years, one that comes to mind, is a 20ft half barrel vaulted ceiling, that we commissioned three artists from Europe to do a hand painted trompe l’oeil mural, mimicking architectural details, and ornamental designs, with afamily crest in the center. And my clients loves it more every day! (Value: $150,000)
HGTV: What's the key to a beautiful room?
ET: I believe the key to a beautiful room is warm, dramatic color pallets, interesting textures, and visual sculpture, creating a captivating ambience.
HGTV: What's one trend in the design world you're loving, and subsequently not loving?
ET: One trend I’m loving is the bold fresh, saturated colours dominating the runways and interiors; emerald greens, turquoise, bright orange and cobalt blues, also fuchsia is very hot. Subsequently, I’m not loving minimalistic designs, in monochromatic color pallets.
Tune-in to Esther Extraordinaire Saturdays at 3:00pm ET on HGTV Canada.
