Window Treatments

Please share your ideas.

I have big windows and want to keep the light coming in (I never fell in love with the blinds and I think they have done their time)

Any ideas are welcome as I am willing to make or buy cost/time/effort will determine which way I go.

almost ceiling to floor living room window and dining room is almost as big.
double windows in 3 bedrooms (including boys bedrooms)
Already figured the basement windows out.

I am a shades girl and I like simple lines. All my windows have soft white cellular shades top down-bottom up. Shades down only at night as I love light during the day.
