k. love me some animals. orcas are my most recent fascination. i've always hated marinelife and dem ting dere. altho, shamefully will admit to taking mermy (the youngest) and his seven best friends to the circus for his b/day. never bin the same since den.

yeah. it was running on cnn all last weekend I think. I was watching other shows, so caught bits and pieces here and there. I knew some of the background story, but not all, so this filled in the gaps.

edited to add - my youngest's name isn't mermy - it' jeremy - he just couldn't pronounce it - so the nickname stuck
