Assessment and Taxation of Your Property

I am wondering if this is a U.S. thing, state by state thing, or what?

yes so them can figure how much of my hard earned money will be used to build a new arena for a rich man hockey team to play in while the schools don't have enough seats.

we don't get one every year..we got one this year and the next one is due 2016 they have projected valuation and then the city set the tax rate based on the aggregate valuations.

Yes I get one every year so they know how much to tax me it actually changes every year and there is always some bond or other that was voted in that raise up yu taxes.

you can contest it though if you think it too high and you have all the scam people who will send you mail that they can get it lowered for you.

I get one every year. My county only has one sports team and they play in a ten year old arena.

Yes, every year the county decides one of the property taxes to be increased.. We are given a period to protest the increase. Actually we are given the chance each year to protest our property taxes, whether the county is increasing it or not. We take advantage of it. My husband is very good at filing and protesting and always manage to get the taxes down, regardless.

Yes, every year. Jus memba dat di millages dat yuh voted for (or don't vote against) if passes, gets added tuh yuh taxes.
