Do we do our children a disservice when we dress them like this?

One of the frustrating parts of being a member of a Jamaican family is some of the clothes the cousins give as gifts....the baggy oversized basketball shorts and marinas...black hoodies . Thank God, mi son nevah did get de baggy drop dung pants but then I guess that is more of an American thing.
