Thank you all for your compliments and kind wishes for my daughter. We went out to dinner last night to celebrate. She says turning 18 is not a big deal, it's actually turning 19 that's significant, because it means she can &quot;do something&quot; (i.e., drink legally, lol!)

She's finished high school and is taking a gap year to do the Katimavik program, then on to university for biology.

Lol! yes, I remember. My daughter has very strong ideas though, and belief in God is not really one of them, so if (((A))) is still interested, sure, we can set something up. We should get together anyway. We may do a Buckhorn run before the end of July, I'll let you know.

If I have kids, I would want them to take a year off between post-secondary education and do something like what your lovely daughter is doing. I think it makes a world of difference
