I think my son,,,

Just pulled his first "Momma I feel sick" to get out of school


He came into my room and woke me up at 6am almost in tears...





"whats wrong baby?"


"I don't feel good Momma."


"what's the matter"


"I coughing"


I went with my first instinct and pulled him into my arms in my bed and calmed the tears...


Now he is sleeping fine


no coughing

no fever since yesterday morning


I think he just wanted to get out of school

My boss knows we have been sick, so if I miss one more day it won't be a problem.


BUT...


I don't want him to get away with this and then think it's so easy to get out of school....



what do I do??


Do I wake him up and make him go to school, or do I give him a bly???

here again...i'm no parent....but

if he's sick...seems as though...he can't go OUT and play...he can't have friends over...and he should REST today.

see if that makes him rethink his scheme...if it doesn't....then he really nah feel good.

i also tell abu to go to school and if he still feels sick go to the nurse and they will call me to come and get him

the nurse never calls . . .
